Personal & Small Group Training

DSC’s one-to-one training is a great option whether you are looking to start a strength and conditioning program, overcome an injury, improve sporting performance, lose weight or improve your general health. For people who are new to resistance training or who find the prospect of going to a gym daunting, it is a great way to learn how to train properly and gain confidence in a safe and motivating environment. We cater for all abilities and levels. Regardless of your goals, our team will always initially assess any weaknesses and imbalances you may have and focus on improving these to build a solid foundation for your training.

We also specialise in small group training for up to 6 people which is an ideal way to incorporate the benefits of personal training with the motivation, competitiveness and fun of a group dynamic.

Performance Training

Our team have performed at the highest level in their sporting fields, and have the ability to assist and develop elite athletes in all aspects of training. Our individualised performance plans are designed to integrate training in the gym with training on the field to enhance performance and help prevent injury.

Pre and Postnatal Training:

Exercising while pregnant is one of the most important things you can do for your body (and mind) as you undergo amazing changes as your bump grows. It is now recommended that even previously sedentary women should commence a training program as soon as they find out they are pregnant (from recent ACSM guidelines*).

The Benefits of exercising while pregnant include:

  • Reduced risk of Gestational Diabetes
  • Reduced risk of musculoskeletal issues such as pelvic girdle dysfunction
  • Evidence of reduced active labour duration
  • Evidence of reduction in assisted delivery methods
  • Quicker recovery postpartum
