Stephanie has been one of the most consistent and motivated clients I have ever trained. After ankle surgery a few years ago, our training journey started out as rehabbing her ankle, but Stephanie was always thinking further than that – always wanting to push herself harder. We quickly progressed from rehab sessions then into the group classes, where she really thrived. She is now training 3-4 times a week with a mix of PT sessions and classes (and zoom classes!). Stephanie quickly became a part of the DSC family.

Her friendly demeanor, willingness to grind and enthusiasm makes working with her an absolute pleasure. We soon homed in on specific goals; the first was to get back to tennis after a few year hiatus. Stephanie’s smashed this and was regularly playing tennis over the summer. Stephanie then had another goal – the VHI Mini Marathon and it was no surprise to anyone when she smashed that as well. We still have a few more goals to reach but with her dedication there is no doubt in my mind we’ll surpass all expectations.

Congratulations again Steph! – James

  • When did you first join Dublin Sports Clinic Gym?

I joined the Dublin Sports Clinic for the first time on 09 November 2018

  • What do you like about it?

The diversity of the different class as there are adapt for different levels

  • What advice would you give to someone just starting in Dublin Sports Clinic Gym?

I will say to start small and low and don’t push yourself then increase gradually as you see your progress. Make it fun and enjoy…

  • What’s your favourite session – and who’s your favourite trainer?! 😝

I don’t have a favourite session. I enjoy each of them as the class is different each time. Regarding my favourite trainer, I will say James as he gave the “Green light” to get back to play tennis and trained me very hard since more than 1 year and half now and it’s not finished… I am so lucky to have him also for Pilates where I can improve my mobility.
