June Client of the Month

With everything that has been going on over the last number of months, we have noticed a huge amount of love coming from our clients. Whether it was buying a voucher, signing up for 7.15 am torture or even just a text of encouragement, it did not go unnoticed and we really appreciated it. So, we thought it would be nice to show some love back!

We are delighted to announce the first ever Dublin Sports Clinic Member of the Month,

 Shane Byrne!

Dublin Sports Clinic Client of the Month

Shane started out in Dublin Sports Clinic with a long-term knee injury that required 2 surgeries and had really restricted his ability to exercise and enjoy playing sport. A “friend” introduced him to Dublin Sports Clinic by thoughtfully enticing/tricking him into the athletes session. By his own admission Shane recalls he barely made it through the warm up and thought he was going to die! However, he never looked back and the DSC team got to work to return the strength and function of his knee and improve his capacity to train. Shane rose to the challenge and put a huge effort into his rehab and can now train comfortably in any session with little restrictions.

He didn't miss a beat when we moved to our Live! Zoom sessions and kept training, and one of our most consistent performers during lockdown. The progress he has made over the last 18 months is nothing short of exceptional. He is a firm favourite with both the staff and other members in his group sessions and a great addition to the energy in any session! We are all very proud of his progress and delighted to have him as our first Member of the Month!

  • What advice would you give to someone just starting in Dublin Sports Clinic Gym? Fake a long term knee injury to avoid doing certain exercises!!!!
  • What’s your favourite session - and who’s your favourite trainer?! 😝 Aoife's met Friday am session or Ellie's (easy...) ‪Monday morning session as both tie in nicely around a heavy weekend (not recommended but gets you back on track!)
